TwispWorks is home to programs supporting young people in our community by providing educational and vocational programs and support to help them successfully transition to happy, healthy and productive adults.
Careers in Construction Academy
During the academic school year, TwispWorks, in partnership with Liberty Bell High School, delivers the Careers in Construction Academy providing vocational training and mentorship to students considering a profession in the construction trades to help qualify them for local, living wage jobs. The Careers in Construction Academy includes two courses – an Advanced Construction Tech course and a Welding Tech course.
Youth Internship Program
To help expose local youth to potential career paths, TwispWorks, in cooperation with our campus partners, supports internships that pair youth with local businesses. Internships have included media studies at the Methow Valley News and local radio station KTRT (The Root), videography, graphic design, communications, manufacturing and construction.
Methow Valley Teen Center
TwispWorks is home to the Methow Valley Teen Center providing support, mentorship and a safe space for teens to hang out and connect.
