TwispWorks Facilities Team Gets Creative

On a crisp morning in early March, the TwispWorks staff gathered to complete a custom-made gutter system on the Bernie Hosey building. Over 30ft long, the system was designed, welded, and installed by our own team.

Construction Lead Evan Wagstaff used skills gathered from Barry Stromberger’s Welding Class, held in the Welding Shop right here on campus.

The team tapped Methow Industrial to purchase and bend the metal to specifications, while using salvaged material from around our campus to affix features such as the downspouts and rain chains that water the garden below.

This project is among so many that demonstrate the industrious nature of our team. As a small organization with limited resources and a unique infrastructure, the creative spirit is vital to maintaining the function of this campus. This facilities team consistently rises to the occasion.

Cheers y’all!
