Indigo Fun Day at Culler Studio

Join local legend Sara Ashford of Culler Studio for an Indigo Fun Day on Saturday June 22nd!

Learn basic Shibori techniques (clamping, folding, tying) which will create gorgeous patterns when dipped into the natural plant indigo vat. Produce a wide range of blues from pale sky to midnight. Cotton and silk fabric will be provided but please also bring 2-5 natural fiber items from home. Noting too large, heavy or fuzzy please – thin cottons and silks are best. T-shirts work great too!

Dress in layers as this class takes place both indoors and out.

Indigo Fun Day at Culler Studio

Join Sara Ashford of Culler Studio to learn basic Shibori techniques to create gorgeous patterns when dipped into the natural plant indigo vat. Produce a wide range of blues from pale sky to midnight!

Sara will provide cotton and silk fabric but students should also bring 2-5 natural fiber items from home. T-shirts, thin cotton and silk items are great – no large, fuzzy or heavy items please!

Class takes place both inside Sara’s beautiful studio and outside so wear layers.

Cost is $65 plus a $10 materials fee. Space is limited so please email Sara or call 509-341-4042 to register or with any questions.
