Mistletoe Madness on the TwispWorks Campus

TwispWorks will be the place to gear up for the holidays this year as the Town of Twisp presents the Valley’s annual shopping extravaganza Mistletoe Madness on Thursday December 5th from 4-7PM!

Shop open artist studios and chat with some of the Valley’s most talented makers! Fun, free, and festive kids crafts at the Serious Fun Studio! Live music throughout the evening! Get your winter-time Fork fix at the pop-up restaurant in Kathy B’s Kitchen. And if the thought of all those holiday happenings is making you thirsty – never fear, the OSB Taproom is on hand to with a seasonal selection of delicious drinks!

After you’ve toured the campus, hop on the free horse drawn carriage and check out all the other fun and festive town-wide events highlighting why Twisp is the heART of the Methow Valley!

This event is free to the public and open to all ages!

Crafts on Draft – Mistletoe Madness Edition at the OSB Taproom

Come get crafty at the OSB Taproom! The Twisp Chamber, TwispWorks and the Confluence Gallery are planning on lighting up our beautiful town for Mistletoe Madness on December 5th and need help preparing luminaries for the event.

We’ll provide all the materials – you supply the crafty!

Not only will you get that warm and fuzzy feeling from helping make this year’s event truly luminous, you’ll also get a warm and fuzzy feeling from getting $1 off your drinks from our friends at the OSB Taproom!

This event is for folks 21 and over please.

The OSB Taproom is located in the South Warehouse, Building #10 on the TwispWorks Campus.

Twisp Fall Art Walk and Studio Tour

Art! Music! Food! Find out why Twisp is the hART of the Methow Valley at the second annual Twisp Fall Art Walk and Studio Tour is Saturday September 28th.

We all know the Town of Twisp is the heart of the Methow Valley, but with over 40 local artists, craftspeople and makers featured … the fall Art walk will transform the town into the ART of the Methow Valley!

From True North Letterpress to Glover Street to the TwispWorks Campus and beyond – Twisp will be alive with art, music, community and fun! And if you’ve had your eye on a piece of art – this is the perfect time to come out and support our local artists. The artwalk culminates in a Cascadia concert featuring Nancy Zhan at the community center.

Maps highlighting studios, galleries and other locations where you can find art and fun are available at all participating organizations.

The Fall Twisp Art Walk and Studio Tour, Saturday September 28th from 1-5PM. Brought to you by The Twisp Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Confluence Gallery, TwispWorks, Methow Arts, the Town of Twisp, The Methow Valley Chamber Music Festival, The Merc Playhouse and Cascadia Music!

Dinner @ TwispWorks: A Cultivated Evening

The fourth annual Dinner at TwispWorks: A Cultivated Evening is happening September 21st, from 4 – 8pm. Once again the TwispWorks campus will be the place to be to catch-up with friends, dine on amazing food highlighting the bounty of the Methow Valley and celebrate 10 years of TwispWorks!

Enjoy a series of stunning dishes featuring local producers and their great produce and proteins. Tickets are still just $50 per person. Like in years past we expect the event to sell out quickly, so get your tickets now! The dinner is for folks 21 years and over.

If you haven’t been to TwispWorks recently you’ll be stunned to see all the changes advancing our efforts to create a community hub and economic engine for the Methow Valley. Come celebrate all our community has achieved at this wonderful event!

Learn to Make Stuffed Cucumber Kimchi

Time to find your inspiration in fermentation with local Korean cuisine expert Jean Wilson! Join Jean in Kathy B’s Kitchen on the TwispWorks campus and learn to make delicious stuffed cucumber kimchi!

Summer is here and Kirby pickling cucumbers are in their peak season! Kirbys are the perfect pickle for making a Korean summertime favorite – stuffed cucumber kimchi. It’s delicious – crisp and refreshing, looks gorgeous and is so easy to make!

In this 1 1/2 hour class, Jean Wilson will share her secrets of making authentic cucumber kimchi and then invites you to sit down to a delicious Korean BBQ beef lunch!
