BEEKEEPING WITH SUSIE KOWALCZYK

Local expert Susie Kowalczyk is back with her very popular series on Beekeeping. Susie will cover the fundamentals of beekeeping from the life cycle of the honeybee though managing your hives.

Classes are open to apiarists of all levels. In this class Susie will be covering:

  • Installing bee packages and nucs
  • Hive management and swarms
  • Diseases and pests

Cost includes class plus follow-up help with purchasing bees, hiving bees, hive location and hive monitoring, if needed.

Classes are held in Your Space@TwispWorks (Building #9) on the TwispWorks campus.
