New Business Workshop: Access to Funding

Starting or buying a business in the Methow Valley? One of the biggest hurdles is often securing the funding to get going. Traditional bank loans can be tough to qualify for—but there are other options.

At this free workshop, you’ll learn about alternative funding sources that can help you move your business idea forward.

TwispWorks Economic Program Director Patrick Law will introduce the Methow Investment Network (MIN), which connects local entrepreneurs with local investors. Then, Lew Blakeney from the Small Business Development Center will walk you through other ways to access capital—and how to prepare.

Bring your questions, your ideas, and your curiosity. This is your chance to move one step closer to making your small business dream a reality.

Free & open to the public.
