Methow Skills Selling Out!

Methow Skills: Print Your Own Field GuideMethow Skills, a series of workshops delivered Saturdays on the TwispWorks campus have been an overwhelming hit with the community with most workshops selling out! The workshops are delivered in a partnership between TwispWorks and the Education Station. The subjects reflect the unique experience of living in the Methow Valley and are taught be expert instructors.

This coming Saturday, July 30 from 1-5 pm, you can join Laura Gunnip and Robin Doggett of Door No. 3 Print Studio for an afternoon of printing using their antique 1911 Chandler & Price printing press to make your very own journal, notebook or field guide – ready to put to use for summer exploring. Utilizing the studio’s collection of vintage wooden type and other ornaments participants will print and stitch each booklet and be introduced to the fascinating art of letterpress printing. Come in and see these machines in motion!
