Mary Kiesau Fellowship Fund Deadline Has Been Extended!

Mary Kiesau Community Fellowship Fund Extended Through April 4

We’re excited to announce that the application deadline for the Mary Kiesau Community Fellowship Fund has been extended to April 4, 2025. Thanks to the continued generosity of Mary’s community of friends, family, and loved ones, this year’s Fellowship will again offer two $1,000 awards to support artists, photographers, naturalists, and naturalist educators.

These awards are designed to fund field-based work that leads to creative or educational projects—work that reflects a deep connection to the Methow Valley’s natural landscape and can be shared with the community.

Mary Kiesau was a woman of extraordinary energy, creativity, and care for the world around her. The Fellowship honors her legacy and values:
– Fostering a resilient and enlightened community rooted in the Methow’s flora, fauna, and people
– Living in harmony with the earth’s finite resources
– Cultivating observation, appreciation, and connection to place

If you’re working on a project that aligns with Mary’s vision, we encourage you to apply by April 4. Full details and the application form can be found here.
