Food & Drink Spotlight: FORK

FORK Food TruckWhat they do: FORK is a mobile food business that uses fresh ingredients to create menu items from scratch, with influence from some of the most popular “street foods” from around the world.

What’s new and delicious: This year we brought back both the Panini with Fries and the Teriyaki Chicken with Rice. These are old favorites making their debut once again. Also, we look forward to offering Greek Fries and other loaded french fry specials. A Philly Cheesesteak special is also on the horizon.

Their favorite local ingredient: My two favorite local ingredients both come from Willowbrook Farm in Carlton. I love their Cultured Chile Sauce and their Sauerkrauts, specifically the Methow Mana Kraut and the Purple Power Kraut.

Favorite online source for recipes and more: The website Civileats.com is great for news and policy around food, agriculture, and the environment. Milk Street Radio is my go-to source for recipes and interesting stories/characters in the food world.

What makes their customers smile: Generous portions and hand-cut fries bring out the smiles!

When to visit: FORK is now open Wednesday through Saturday, 11am – 3pm
