Methow Skills for Kids: Community Restoration & Fly Fishing Day

FreeMethow Skills for Kids presents a community restoration and fly fishing day at the WDFW Floodplain site in preparation for National Fisihng Day June 10th at the Winthrop Hatchery.
Explore – Wander the floodplain trails and learn about habitat restoration
Restore– Plant native trees and shrubs to help restore this site
Cast– Practice fly casting techniques with local experts
Tie– Study aquatic insects and learn the art of fly tying
This Methow Skills for Kids workshop is for ages 10 and up!
Participation in the day’s activities is free, but registration is required.
