METHOW SKILLS: Bike Maintenance & Repair 101 with Scot Domergue

$60Scot Domergue has been riding bicycles and doing his own maintenance and repairs for over 45 years. During a two year period he traveled half-time on his bicycle clocking over 12,000 miles! This is a man who knows how to fix road weary bikes!
Bring your bicycle and whatever tools and supplies you may have: lubricants, spare tubes, patch kits, tire irons, pump and any thing else you carry on your bike and head on down to the Education Station for a fun an informative hands-on workshop on the basics of bicycle repair and maintenance. Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty and greasy.
The workshop will address:
– Dealing with flats
– Daily care and maintenance
– Tune-ups
– Discussion around minor and major overhauls
The workshop will be held in the Education Station (Building 9) on the TwispWorks campus. Pre-registration is required.
