Last Sunday Lecture: Emergence of the Methow

June 30 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Free
Methow Valley

Have you ever wondered where the Methow Valley came from? Have you ever paused and considered the stories hidden in the rocks at your feet? The Methow Valley Interpretive Center invites you to join George Wooten, Bruce Morrison and others as the MVIC unveils their new geology exhibit “Emergence of the Methow”.

From its origins as a silty ocean bottom to the glacier-carved Valley we see today, the Emergence of the Methow is a story of beauty, change, and powerful forces. Join us as we explore this and many other stories.

Seasonally inspired drinks and snacks will be provided.

This event is open to the public and provided free of charge but donations to the Methow Valley Interpretive Center are greatly appreciated.

The Methow Valley Interpretive Center is located in Building #2 o the TwispWorks campus.
