How to Engage Your Community: A Workshop for Methow Valley Nonprofits
February 8, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
FreeAs a nonprofit organization you know you need to engage with your community more. But, how? And, when? Turns outs that providing meaningful volunteer opportunities is one of the best ways to engage more people in your mission.
Volunteer Methow and Sarah Brooks from the Methow Conservancy are teaming up to offer a free workshop in two parts — Part 1 on February 8th, and Part 2 on March 13th — to transform the way you think about volunteer opportunities, what kinds of tasks you have for volunteers, and how you can find the time to make this mission-critical function easy and fun. Through the workshops, you will develop two to three new and improved community engagement opportunities you will feel ready and excited to offer!
Participants will also receive follow-up one-on-one coaching from Volunteer Methow and Sarah to help refine your volunteering options and make sure you are ready for a spring full of community support.
Sign up is free, but space is limited. Email Kelli Rotstan kelli.rotstan@gmail.com to save your space.
This workshop will be held in Your Space@TwispWorks, Building #9 on the TwispWorks Campus.
