Fresh Eyes on Winter – Nature Drawing for Everyone!

Perri Howard, artist and educator, and Mary Kiesau, naturalist and educator, are offering a winter series of nature drawing classes focused on looking at our winter world with fresh eyes. Themed classes will meet on Fridays, 12:30pm-5:00pm, on Jan 11, Jan 25, Feb 1 and Feb 15. Attend individual classes or the whole series. Each class will begin with a short excursion outside and natural history lesson, then move indoors to Perri’s studio at TwispWorks. These classes are perfect for beginners and folks who have some drawing experience.

The themed classes are:
Jan 11: Light & shadows with branches and berries
Jan 25: Snowy shacks, sheds, and barns
Feb 1: Identifying and drawing winter birds
Feb 15: River landscapes in winter

Classes are $65 each or $240 for the 4-class series. All materials are included. Space is limited to 12 people per class and pre-registration is required. Classes are designed for ages 16 and up. If you would like to bring someone under the age of 16, please call or email Perri perri@vmgworks.com.
