Dyeing with Indigo: Shibori Resist Workshop (2-day)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until October 22, 2016
Indigo is an ancient dye that comes from the leaves of plants surrounded by mystery and magic. It is particularly suited to resist methods of dying like Shibori ( folding, clamping, stitching, pole wrapping ) to make resist patterns for the fabrics. The resist results in many different shades of blue.
The first day (Friday, October 21st) of this two day workshop will be held at 3 Bears Cafe and Quilts and the second day (Saturday, October 22nd) will be held at Culler Studio on the TwispWorks campus.
Both workshop days run from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
