A Last Sunday Lecture: Finding the Methow Beaver

July 31, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

The Methow Valley Interpretive Center “Last Sunday” speaker series presents Hannah Newell, “Finding the Methow Beaver” on Sunday, July 31 at 5:00 pm at the Methow Valley Interpretive Center.

Beavers have inhabited the Methow Valley for thousands of years. Although they can be pesky land managers at times, the beaver plays a key role in water storage and wildlife management. Hannah will talk about the role of beaver in our landscape and hear how we can live in tandem with these ecosystem engineers.

The Methow Valley Interpretive Center presents speakers on the Last Sunday of each month on subjects relating to the cultural and natural history of the Methow Valley. The Methow Valley Interpretive Center is located on the TwispWorks campus at the corner of 5th & Glover St. in Twisp. More information can be found at methowvalleyinterpretivecenter.com.
