Barry Stromberger's GMO desk
Five of TwispWorks partners (plus one employee) designed desks for ”Art on My Desk,” a senior project from LBHS student Sage Abate. TwispWorks’ artists Steve Ward, Jae Cremin, Donna Keyser, Barry Stromberger and Matt Armbrust each contributed desks for the project as well as TwispWorks’ Director of Partnerships and Operations, Tori Karpenko. Nick Allgood
Nick Allgood is the newest member of a burgeoning group of innovators pursuing alternative energy on the TwispWorks campus, which already includes the Community Solar Project and solar engineer Stuart Metler. Nick plans to re-use vegetable oil to create clean-burning biodiesel, pushing TwispWorks another step forward in its mission to bring sustainable innovation and technology to the Methow. A Piece by Jerry
Metal artist Jerry Merz is constructing a new space in the South Vehicle Bay, the building facing Highway 20 on the south end of the TwispWorks campus. Jerry discovered his passion for metal work in 2000 after taking some classes from a local blacksmith. He improved his skills and began creating custom lighting, banisters, gates and other metal elements for homes and gardens.
